Your Character can choose two different main professions in WoW. This is very important, because you can create a lot of useful items and equipment on your own, or you can make a lot of wow gold with it. The professions First Aid, Cook and Fishing can be used beside your main professions, because they are only secondary professions, but also useful. The main professions are seperated in manufacturing and collecting professions. With the collecting professions you can earn a lot of wow gold, by selling the ressources you get in the auctionhouse. The manufacturing professions will allow you to create a lot of mighty equipment for your character, but you need the right collecting profesion to get the ressources for that. So you have to decide what you want to do, if you only want to get as much wow gold as you can, you have to choose two different collecting professions. If you want to create useful items for your character, you have to chose a combination of both.
